Bungie unveiled new details for Destiny 2: Heresy Act II in a livestream earlier today, confirming a March 11 launch date and teasing fresh content, gear, and activities for Guardians to enjoy. In addition to showcasing the ongoing narrative, developers offered a first look at the Court of Blades activity—an updated homage to Destiny’s original Court of Oryx—and previewed a future event, Rite of the Nine, which will be free for all players.
Court of Blades
Launching on March 11, Court of Blades tasks Guardians with battling waves of increasingly tough enemies in arena-style encounters. By using runes to modify gameplay and adapt their strategies, players compete for the mantle of the Taken King in a tribute to one of Destiny’s most beloved public events.
Moments of Triumph
Meanwhile, the annual Moments of Triumph event kicks off today, celebrating the community’s achievements during the year of The Final Shape. Participants can complete triumphs across a range of activities to earn exclusive rewards, including:
