Kuro Games is stirring up excitement once again, unveiling fresh details about Wuthering Waves Version 2.2, officially titled “Tangled Truth in Inverted Tower.” During a recent livestream, fans got a sneak peek at the new main quest, companion story content, unexplored regions, echoes, challenges, and upcoming in-game events. On top of that, Kuro Games announced two major platform expansions: a soon-to-be-available Steam version (now open for wishlisting) and a MacOS launch.
A Glimpse at “Tangled Truth in Inverted Tower”
Slated to drop on March 27, Wuthering Waves 2.2 introduces:
- A brand-new Main Quest leading players into the heart of the Inverted Tower.
- Companion Story Content that deepens the bonds between characters and unveils critical lore.
- New Regions & Echoes that expand the game’s world, with fresh landscapes and hidden challenges.
- Additional Events to keep the adventure momentum rolling long after you’ve conquered the main storyline.
With improved gameplay mechanics, Kuro aims to refine the player experience via interface tweaks, questline adjustments, and other behind-the-scenes optimizations.

Optimizations:
- PC Launcher: The latest version supports incremental content updates. This reduces the size of game resources that need downloading and the length of the downloading process.
- Color Settings: Adjust the brightness, contrast, and color saturation of the game’s graphics.
- Quick Access to Supplies in Backpack: When upgrading a Resonator, select “Supply Pack” on the “How to Get” menu and open the Supply Pack that drops the target Material, instead of going back to the Backpack to locate and open the corresponding Supply Pack.
- Story Review: As you play through a quest, use the ‘Review’ button to review the text for the part of the story you’ve just experienced.
- Titles: Meet requirements to unlock Titles that mark your growth as a fighter and the achievements you’ve made along the way.
- Exploration: The numbers of Waypoints and Casket Sonar that can be deployed simultaneously have been increased to 10 and 5 respectively.
